Located in Dubai Marina, Al Raheem Mosque stands out from its modern surroundings. The simplified exterior, along with its rich interior, sets it apart from any mosque in the area.
The main challenge was to make the panoramic view of the Marina visible to the visitors inside the mosque. Wide openings were created throughout the space for worshippers to admire the view. These openings were extended vertically from the floor to the ceiling. The site level was raised 6 meters above ground level.The cliff was given a design attribute by creating a water feature. A waterfall was created, which starts from the mosque, and flows into the lake.
